I love arranging tunes into solo guitar chord melodies because it's like putting together a little musical jigsaw puzzle.
It's a process of rearranging the pieces and trying different voicings, chords, or ideas, until you discover what fits and what doesn't.
Here's the B section of The Landlady, written by Trey Anastasio and debuted by Phish in the fall of 1990.
For the video I used my Danocaster singlecut through a vintage 1969 Fender Princeton Reverb.
Correction: the chord in bar 4 should be F#7b9, not F7#9
