Hey guys, it's Amar from amarguitar.com.

First of all I want to thank you all so much for all of the wonderful comments and emails over the last several months.

We also hit 1,000 Youtube subscribers recently and that absolutely blows me away, so thank you guys!

A lot of you have reached out asking about my skype lessons and right now I've got seven students that I'm working with regularly, and I do have room for a few more – email me amar@amarguitar.com if you'd like to find out more.

Second, I want to mention why I've been MIA.  I'm a working musician here where I live in Upstate New York.

Since I launched this channel in March, I've gigged and recorded with 10 different bands in my area, and I'm still playing with a lot of those bands currently.

The summer and fall are peak gigging seasons and I've been rehearsing and playing five, six,  and sometimes seven nights a week.

I've been playing a ton of bar and club dates, brewery shows, local festival dates, as well as a bunch of private parties and events.

On top of that, my wife and I own a farm and we've been working really hard to grow and expand that as well.

So I've had barely any time to make new videos for this channel, but as we roll on into winter, I'll be going back to weekly videos.

That brings us to our third point – the future of this channel.

As I mentioned, I'll be going back to doing regular videos soon and of course I'll still keep making guitar lessons based on your requests that I see in youtube comments.

I also get a ton of questions about gear, everything from recommendations for beginner level guitars to pro-level equipment.

I'm lucky enough to have a collection of high end guitars, amps and pedals so I'll be also be doing gear review videos from my personal collection and answering some of your tech related questions on this channel.

And finally I'd love to share some of the bands I work in.  I'm really lucky to play with a ton of great musicians in my area, so I'll be uploading recordings of some of my favorite songs and moments.

I'm really looking forward to the content that I've got in the pipeline, so thank you guys again for all the support and I'll see you in the next video!
